Sarah smiled brightly as she walked with Chronos and seeing her room was now in sight she broke into a run until she was at the door but then stood patiently at the door waiting for him. "You know, its kind of exciting," she said. "This will be the second time you've come into my room and the first you've spent the night." She opened the door and invited him in. "I'll make us some hot tea," she said. "Its a little late, but no reason we should get to sleep right away. Unless you want to that is. Still some hot tea is nice before bed anyway, don't you agree?" The way she was speaking a mile a minute she was feeling kind of bad like she wasn't letting him get a word in edgewise. Still, she was just so excited! She couldn't believe he was sleeping in her room with her tonight! "I'll try not to talk too much anymore..." she said. "I promise, I'm just excited is all. Anyway, I'll make that tea now if you'd like some." She blushed a little as she spoke but the smile remained and there was a sparkle of happiness in her eyes.

Chronos found himself a bit underwhelmed by his love's enthusiasm. But, he brought himself back from his brief moment of shock and bemusement and embraced Sarah with a buttery smile.
"Nonsense, dear girl." He said, biting back a giggle at her bewildered expression. "I've always loved the sound of your beautiful voice, because even when i'm not around to hear it the memory is always enough to better the best of my begotten days."
He smiled as walked across the room to embrace her.

Sarah blushed even more deeply at the feeling of his arms around her. She was happy to hear him say such kind things. "Then... I'm glad I can make you happy..." she replied softly, nuzzling her head to her lover's chest. He was so warm... When he held her like this she felt as though she was drifting away peacefully in a dream world. And yet it was all real... No dream was this sweet and no dream lasted this long. Moreover no dream would allow such happiness without forcing her to wake up just before it got there. She had almost completely forgotten the tea by now. This was so much better. And she was so comfortable with him. "I love you..."

When he hugged her like this, he felt as if the whole world was slipping away. Her comforting warmth agaisnt him. Her love. It flowed over him like the rays of the brightest sun. Which would explain why his night now felt so bright. Now that she was here. He didn't know what he'd ever do without her though he'd do almost anything for her. Which, as he planted a kiss on her forehead, he said with his next feeling-filled sentence.
"I'll always love you as well, Sarah."

Sarah's blush deepened as Chronos spoke. Just tha word always made the sound of it even more wonderful which she said through a bright smile filled with tears of pure joy. "Always..." she repeated after him, taking that one simple word that never would have meant a thing used in any other way to heart. She could feel a cool breeze drifting throught the halfway open window yet it did nothing to take away the warmth she felt from him. By now she had completely forgotten that she was going to make them some tea, though at this point did it even matter?

Chronos held her close for a few moments, happy in the knowledge and the feeling that she was here, now, with him. Then he was rudely interuppted.
By his stomache rumbling.

At first Sarah's eyes widened a little in surprise at the sudden sound. Then she started to laugh a little. "Sounds like you could use some food, huh," she asked. ""Then again I guess being at the spa so long we both kind of neglected supper. If you can set the table though, I'll fix us something nice. I've been meaning to let you taste some of my cooking. I can't make a lot, but what I do make, I make well."

Chronos blushed in embareassment. How could a divine teacher like him succumb to something so common as hunger?
Oh wait. It's because it is common.
"Oh? Excellent! I would love to try some of your cooking, dear girl!"
He hurried to the table and made himself comfortable.

Sarah smiled then hurrying into the kitchen set to work. It seemed to be more fun and go by a lot faster at the thought she was cooking not just for herself but for Chronos as well. She had just the recipe in mind too. Maybe not the fanciest thing in the world but her specialty and favorite that she hoped he would like too.
After a while it was done. She took it in and set it on the table. "Well, here it is," she said. "Its my presonal favorite and I hope you'll enjoy it too. I learned it from my mom and it doesn't do hers justice, but its tuna noodle casserole."

Chronos looked at the food in awe for a moment. He took a deep whiff of the air and he had to admit it smelled nearly heavenly. Picking up his fork and knife, he cut himself a steaming piece that was dripping noodles and cheese and, ignoring the heqat, ate it in one bite.
Then he paused.
Then the world stopped.
Then he gasped.
"That........that! Was the best tuna casserole i've ever had!"

Sarah closed her eyes finding herself hoping that he would like it and upon hearing his words, opened them, and blushed deeply. She found now that she was so happy and her heart was racing with joy as she clasped her hands together in front of her chest. "I'm so glad you like it," she replied excitably. "I have to admit I was a little worried there." After speaking she sat down across from him and got herself a bit of casserole as well. "Well, eat as much as you like," she said finally before taking a bite of her own. "There's plenty. More than just the two of us can eat I'm sure!"

Chronos ate some more of the excellent cooking with a smile.
"You worry too much, dear girl. Your cooking is as excellent as your lo-.....um, that is, everything about you is excellent! You say you got this recipe from your mom?"
He put his fork down and wiped his face with a napkin.

Sarah nodded. "Yeah, and I think she got it from my grandma," she replied. "Cooking runs in my mom's side of the family. It seems to have really started from my grandpa whose cooking was legendary in the U.S. Army when he was head chef during World War II." She blushed a bit realizing she was bragging about her family. She didn't mean to...Though at the same time she rarely spoke of her family 'til now. Another things she realized and left her wondering about his as well. She had never heard him make any mention of his family.

Chronos gave a warm smile, something he now did a lot more often, at her change of expression.
"You don't talk much about your family, do you? I'm a little surprised that you even mentioned them this early in our relationship. In the past i'd refrain myself from sharing such. I love my parents of course, they sacrificed a lot for me in my youth, but.........i can't say they're anything to brag about. I...don't mind telling you this. They were a little too involved in our high class life style while, i was more focused on making some true friends. I don't think i've done so good at that even after all these years."

Sarah's eyes widened as a blush crossed her soft features upon heraring him make mention of his family, something she hadn't really expected. But by the end of what he said... She found herself wanting to cry. She stood up slowly from her seat and walked around to the other side of the table where he sat then embraced him gently from behind. Her eyes were half closed and she breathed gently. She wanted him to know that from now on... He was never alone...
