The waiter came back, just then, with their food. He placed steaming trays before Chronos and Sarah, with a wry smile that suggested one knew more then they should.

Sarah's eyes widened in surprise. She was kid of jumpy today really. "T-thank you," she said to the waiter with a smile.

He gave her a low bow.
"Anytime, my dear. I live to please."
He then walked towards another table, vanishing as suddenly as he'd come.

Sarah smiled a bit as he left though about had a heart attack when he seemed to just vanish. "I must be seeing things..." she said. "Or.... Rather NOT seeing things...." She took a bite of her cereal then looked at Chronos and smiled gently, a soft blush crossing her face.

Chronos raised an eyebrow at Sarah and began to eat his own breakfast with a smile.
"Nice toast. Fluffy with just enough syrup."
Though, he couldn't help but stare at her.
'Hmm. I could get used to this feeling.'

Sarah wouldn't know. She hadn't had french toast since she was a kid. As picky as she was she didn't much care for it either. But she said nothing. To each their own. She smiled softly noing that he seemed to be looking at her just as much as she was looking at him. It made her feel a little better. Less akward because she wasn't alone in that matter. She continued to eat her cereal quickly though, preferring that it not get soggy. She hated soggy cereal.

Chronos eyed her own meal, with a wary eye. One thing he disliked about cereal was that it was always cold (otherwise it was oatmeal and annoying to make) and that one had to be careful not to splash milk on everything. The way sarah was currently eating made that all the more probable.
But, he said nothing and continued on with his meal. Everyone had different tastes after all. That's what made people unique and relationships fun.

Sarah smiled softly as she quickly finished up her cereal. "Phew.... If I had taken any longer that last bite would have been way too soggy for me," she said nervously. Well at least that explained why she was such a speed eater. She moved on to her waffles, which she ate slower but still quick enough to not let them get too cool. She drank some milk and less often some orange juice. She didn't like the pulp in orange juice but she tolerated it.

Chronos smiled over at her.
"Well, that explains why you were eating it so fast."
He returned to his own food, working on his eggs benedict.
"They actually got the fluffiness and texture of this meal just right this time!"

Sarah smiled at this. "Hmmm... I wonder who the chef is today," she said. "Whoever it is, they must be an amazing cook to get it all perfect. My waffles are even just how I like them." She knew it must have sounded unusual for there to be a right way and a wrong way to make waffles, but it was like how at home of her parents bought waffles at the store she would only eat Eggos and no other kind. These were different of course but somehow still just what she liked.

"I have no Earthly idea. Maybe this restaurant is run by Gods and Angels like this resort is." Chronos said, with a pleased sigh.
He poured another of milk, sense an icy picture was mere inches away, and proceeded to down it.

Sarah smiled at this. "I didn't expect you were the type to believe in that sort of thing," she said. "But it looks like I was wrong. I guess it would be boring if I was always right about you though." She blushed softly before returning to eating her waffles and drinking her milk. "I believe in just about everything, myself though," she laughed. "I see no reason not to, you know?"

Chronos smiled, knowingly.
"I didn't use to believe in such things, dear girl. But, since coming to this island, i've seen actual angels, gods, fairys, pixies, elfs, and any number of other mythical creatures. I suppose i never should of doubted their existence, it is a rather large universe after all."

Sarah smiled a bit at this. "I guess it makes sense that coming here could change a person's mind on those matters," she said softly. "Its changed some of my beliefs too..." She looked down with a soft blush. "Until I came here and met you.... I never thought love could exist for someone like me..." She looked back up now, into her lover's eyes. "I guess in the end... We all learn that we're wrong about certain things sooner or later..."

"Indeed, young Sarah. Love itself is the most sought out thing and the hardest to find. But, we find that it is out there for everyone."
